Maroons confirm Mikee Reyes now out of lineup Filoil-up-reyes

MIKEE REYES is now out of the University of the Philippines squad, ending his injury-plagued collegiate career with the Maroons.

This was confirmed by team officials prior to their game against La Salle on Wednesday following a report that he has already left the squad.

As of posting time, it was not clear why Reyes left the team. However, observers noted that the guard had a shouting incident with UP coach Ricky Dandan in their opener against Adamson on Sunday.

Reyes was recruited by UP out of La Salle Greenhills. He, however, struggled with shoulder injuries during his career.

He was actually making his return to UP this season following his second shoulder injury.
